Improved Communication a Focus of July MeetingAt the July 16 club meeting, held at Grandville Famous Dave's, the members in attendance discussed at length ways to improve the communication between the club's board of directors and the members who often cannot attend each month's meeting. Two major decisions were made. First, a meeting agenda will be emailed to the membership prior to each meeting. This will not only give people an idea of what is on the docket for the meeting, but may also give them a chance to respond with their input on any issues that interest them. Secondly, the minutes of each meeting will be emailed to the membership within a week after the meeting. This will allow members who were not able to attend to see what was discussed, what was decided, and where the club is headed. It is the hope of the Board that this communication will help everyone feel more tied in with the activities - even if they are unable to attend regular meetings. As always, if you have suggestions, requests, or ideas, please feel free to contact one of the officers or Board members to share them. We are always looking for new ideas!
