GLHRC Members Making Noise at the Grand!Three Great Lakes HRC members took part in the International Grand Hunt held in South Dakota over Memorial Day Weekend. Sarah Shull with Tule, Tim Doane with Ely, and Rod Sage with Shadow entered the five series, marathon of a hunt test that is the highest stage that the HRC has to offer. While none of them passed all five series, just entering a test of this magnitude means that you have one of the top dogs in the country! We are very proud of each of these handlers for their accomplishments. Sarah Shull and Tule went out in the first series as Tule got lost on the middle mark and hand to be handled. Tim Doane passed the first series with one small, clean handle, but went out in the second on a tough blind. Rod Sage and Shadow passed both the first two series, but went out in the third on a tough water test. Congratulations to all of you!
